Hauling a Harley with a 2007 Toyota Tundra is a simple process. No matter what Harley motorcycle you need to haul, the bed on the Tundra is big enough for all Harley models. In the bed of the Toyota Tundra are four anchor points--two on the front (one right, one left) and two on the rear (one right, one left). The handle bars are the front support points on the Harley, and the rear axle is the support point for the rear.

Instructions

Things You'll Need

  • Motorcycle load ramp
  • 4 heavy duty ratchet straps
    • 1

Open the tailgate on the 2007 Toyota Tundra. Connect the motorcycle loading ramp on the tailgate of the Tundra. Drive the Harley up the loading ramp and onto the Tundra's bed.

    • 2

Position the front tire in the left corner of the Tundra's bed. Connect one of the ratchet straps to the right handle bar and one on the left handle bar. Connect the right ratchet strap lose end to the right side anchor point and the left ratchet strap lose end to the left anchor point. Tighten the ratchet straps so that the front forks are compressed.

    • 3

Pull the rear tire into the right rear corner of the Tundra's bed. Connect a ratchet strap to the right rear axle and connect he opposite end of the strap to the right rear anchor point on the bed. Repeat for the left rear side. Tighten the two rear ratchet straps enough to stop any movement. Tie a red rag to the rear of the Harley.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't try to close the tailgate. The rear wheel is supported by the tailgate.
